Production & Quality Control Manager

As a Project Management Doctoral (major), Mike brings a wealth of knowledge in small “Weapons and Ammunition” Manufacturing, Assembly, and Quality Control. As the lead, he is pivotal in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations while upholding high-quality standards. He develops and executes production plans to meet operational goals that involve coordinating production schedules, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the timely delivery of products by implementing strict quality control measures throughout the production process. Furthermore, he conducts all final inspections to ensure all teams adhere to industry regulations and company standards. In addition, as a Program Manager, he identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the production cycle that involve implementing ISO 9001 manufacturing principles, leading quality improvement programs, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and driving a culture of continuous improvement in quality standards.

Khurram Shah

Since the founding of his first company ICS Nett, Inc. in 2003, Mr. Shah has managed over 2 Billion dollars in multi-year contracts, supporting over 26 Government customers spanning 6 separate markets. The many enterprises he leads have grown to an industrial footprint of more than 500 employees worldwide. After founding ICS Nett, Inc., Mr. Shah, in partnership with his twin brother Shehraze Shah, acquired and grew Swiftships, now an industry leader in pioneering the manufacture of naval vessels and in delivering marine integration for small and mid-sized naval platforms.

Mr. Shah furthered his experience building companies to establish an international manufacturing footprint that spans the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia. Subsequently he developed a depth of knowledge in small, medium, and large caliber ammunition including tank, artillery, mortar and grenade ammunition during his tenure on the board of Swiftships guiding defensive platform integrations for over a decade. Mr. Shah invested in acquiring a gun manufacturing company, became an expert in polymers and he bought an injection-moulding platform to manufacture small and midsize automatic weapons for commercial and military use. Mr. Shah further leveraged this highly specialized business knowledge in combination with his success establishing a global manufacturing footprint, to bring supply chain logistics, contracts, acquisitions, vertical integration and industry leading partnerships with major players like Lockheed Martin, L3 and Northup Grumman, and strategically developed the company that is OCR Global today.

As CEO, and Chairman of the Board for OCR Global, Mr. Shah has brought a depth of expertise in multiple markets and industry disciplines to lead this well-established venture of specialized complex mission support services, logistics, ammunition manufacture and program management. Under his leadership, Mr. Shah has led the sourcing and manufacture of more than 70 types of ammunition product, and more than 250 types of weapons and weapons systems since the founding of OCR Global in 2005. Mr. Shah has led the expansion of the company’s presence throughout Europe, Central Asia, MENA and South America. With his leadership serving as CEO and Chairman of the board, far reaching and broad successful partnerships have been established with industry majors to serve the Nations’ most important customers; the US Army, Navy, Marines and Special Operations Command.

As a hands on executive Mr. Shah is known for rolling his sleeves up and applying his Master’s Degree education from George Mason University in Virginia, to perform day to day responsibilities beside his large teams of employees while evangelizing for OCR Global and leading its corporate strategy. He supports the company President and shares such duties as maintaining relationships with strategic and tactical vendors and contractors, periodically supplements duties associated with acquisition, and he collaborates with clients to assist with framing legal boundaries for program scope. When his schedule permits he is known to take a deep dive and refine delivery or billing schedules, oversee reporting mechanisms, and provide quality control over OCR Global products. 

Mr. Shah also periodically manages Task Order responses when bandwidth is challenged and must win acquisitions are on the line. He is also known for supporting purchasing and professional services initiatives including supplier bids and proposals, cost analyses, supplier qualification and awards business to the most qualified subcontractors and suppliers. He remains active leveraging his more than 17 years of experience in leading companies and exemplifies unique skills that enhance collaborating with cross-functional groups including legal, business and quality control.

In addition, Mr. Shah remains engaged in leading corporate risk management, and performs as oversight on multiple fronts including Contracts and Finance, Client and Subcontractor management. Mr. Shah also provides oversight with verifying invoices for accuracy, and tracks subcontractor costs to remain engaged in the successful stewardship of OCR Global. To balance his work and life mission, Mr. Shah remains consistently active in both local and international charities, and makes his home with his family in the state of Virginia.
